About Us

What if happiness wasn’t something you found—but something you learned?

For years, I worked with writers, artists, and everyday people who were drowning in anxiety, burnout, and self-doubt. I watched brilliant, creative minds crumble under pressure, and I realized we’ve all been taught how to chase success but not how to sustain joy.

So I started building a system. Not therapy. Not toxic positivity.

A practical, repeatable way to get emotionally fit and feel better now, not “someday.”

That’s how Happiness University was born.

Three students jumping in the air outside a modern building, holding notebooks and backpacks, celebrating.

The Problem:

Most happiness advice is either too clinical or too cringe. People don’t need gurus. They need guidance. Therapy is great, but it’s about the past. Happiness University is about the present. Being happier now. The Motto for Happiness University is Beatus Est Potentia: “Happiness Is Power.”

The Solution:

We turn happiness into something you can practice: daily, simple, real. From quick Happiness Habits to community challenges, you’ll find small actions that add up to big change. Here’s what sets us apart:

Holistic Focus

Emotional Fitness:

Small, meaningful actions like reconnecting with friends or starting your day with a moment of intentional joy.

Doom Scroll Offsetting:

Trade hours of mindless scrolling for activities that build you up, like outdoor walks, reading, or learning something new.

Physical Wellness:

Accessible tools like hydration reminders, movement nudges, and stress-busting techniques—delivered with humor, not preachiness.

Relatable and Real:

Our tone is rooted in peer praise, with humor and friendly, non-cringey encouragement. Less “practice gratitude” and more “what’s one thing that didn’t suck today?”

What we are

We’re the friend who checks in.

We’re the system that makes happiness feel doable.

We’re the reminder you didn’t know you needed.

We’re built by real people who’ve been through real shit.

What we are not

We’re not therapists.

We’re not a toxic positivity cult.

We’re not telling you to meditate for 47 minutes or manifest a Tesla.

We’re not here to fix you. You’re not broken.

Happiness is a skill. Let's get you good at it.

No gurus. No guilt. Just guidance. And a system that actually works.
